Chinese and Herbal Physical therapy Medicine
A national survey found that almost one in five Americans use Chinese herbal remedies, which have been examined for a variety of medical conditions including stroke, heart disease, mental disorders, and respiratory ailments (such as bronchitis and the common cold). According to TCM, modest to moderate exercise improves our blood's quality and enhances our QI (energy), but when done excessively, it becomes paradoxical. Overexertion actually depletes the body's QI and blood supply.
