Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation
Physical Therapy is a rehabilitation discipline deals with physical abilities, diagnosing, treating and recovering the patients with daily tasks and exercises who are with impairments of all ages. Physical therapy is an active profession with a well-known theoretical and scientific base and prevalent clinical applications in the restoration, maintenance, and advance of optimal physical function. The goal of physical therapy is to make daily tasks and activities easier. Rehabilitation is a treatment to recover from injury, illness, or disease to as normal a condition as possible. Rehabilitation focuses on physical therapy to strength, mobility and fitness, occupational therapy to help in daily activities, speech language therapy, and treatment of pain. It is different for different people based on type of therapy and goals of therapy. Physical therapy programs provided in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
